The Project
An open invitation to write me personal letters. They can be about anything: you, me, something you did recently, something that's really important to you, the story of your life--anything. All I'm asking is that they are personal and hand written. This project is about letters as art. The written word, ink on paper, is a beautiful thing. It is about the wonder of creating something so uniquely personal for someone, that you're never going to see again. It is also about the way we communicate now, and what we are really saying to each other. Please note that I will read everything you write to me. I will also be willing to write you back, if you like, just make sure you include your return address (I will not be sharing personal addresses with anyone). This project/experiment started as a school assignment, but has been quite successful, and highly enjoyable, so I will be running it for as long as it can go. I guess it all depends on you.
